Sample Agreements
Example 2. Customer B, which we will call Universe Solutions, sells a medium-sized product on a wide variety of Commerce platforms including Amazon, Walmart, Their own site, etc… We developed the following pricing strategy to optimize their growth and save them money on the agreement of an average of 100 boxes per day. They will be shipping their container to our warehouse to fulfill orders. The turnaround of their product is 1 container every 2 months.
Service and Fees:
- Receiving of inventory and counting of containers – $500/unloading and inventory of products.
- Storage Space for current products – Free.
- Shipping and Handling – $5 handling per box(fulfillment charge), they are using their own shipping account, so no shipping cost except if shipping products are needed (thermal labels, additional caution stickers, etc…)
Just like the customer above, they are able to take advantage of our inventory and shipping system put in place, free of charge, which saves them money and time.
Key Partners
We are strategically partnered with several technology platforms to offer our clients the latest in shipping and inventory tracking. ShipStation and Zenventory are the leaders in their industry. This streamlines the process and minimizes the chance of a failed order.Â
Amazon
Selling on Amazon is almost a requirement these days in order to get your name out there. Amazon encourages sellers to allow FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) with restrictive requirements. However, using a FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant) service gives you more control and power in your business. EZ Warehousing is becoming one of the largest 3PLs in the country and the largest in Houston, Texas. We have some of the lowest shipping rates for ground and freight in the country.
FBA Pro’s
- All orders are guaranteed to be fulfilled within Amazon’s allotment because they control inventory.
- No hassle with shipping and returns.
- Storage fee are almost non-existent for the first 3 months of service.
- Automatic Prime Status.
FBA Con’s
- Fees are variable from month to month.
- Lack of inventory controls.
- Convoluted fees, that add up if you’re not paying attention.
- Inventory pooling happens, oftentimes with your competitors.
- Getting products to Amazon are a hassle, especially as a small-time seller.
FBM Pro’s
- Custom work (different labels, custom packing slips, incentive items, etc…).
- Tighter inventory control system.
- Ability to move inventory as needed.
- Dictate shipping carriers and services required for those shipments.Â
- Simple billing.
FBM Con’s
- Not Prime immediately, the trial period is 50 orders with a less than 1% margin of error.
- Amazon distribution limit threshold(s) placed on incoming products.
- Shipping prices, while low, will typically be above Amazon’s rate if weight is below 10 Lbs.
Additional Selling Channels
Perhaps your product is so niche that you’re selling on obscure and nontraditional selling channels. We can also manage those via daily emails. Our services are custom-tailored to each deal, depending on your needs.Â
